  2. Whitney Houston - Good Lord, a fifth showing of the same TOTP stage performance, and those amazing boobs are still reaching out to us, as Whitney climbs back into the Top 20 this week with this single.

Phats & Small - much more like it, as the previous week's show, the girls on stage were mediocre, but this week they stepped up considerably in their choice of sexy clothing, and made the single much more watchable.

Electronic - having evolved out of New Order, the same line up of Electronic some 10 years after their debut single in 1989 called Getting Away With It as Gail Porter reminded us, came up with what was to be their final Top 40 single here in 1999 with Vivid.

Some interesting new entries further down the chart this week for some old timers and at peak position, missing out on a TOTP performance:

No.46 Barbara Windsor & Mike Reid - The More I See You
I guess these two were at the time doing Eastenders together, so this must have been somewhat of a celebration of their on-screen chemistry.

No.53 Mike Oldfield - Far Above The Clouds
Final single for Oldfield in a chart career going back 25 years to 1974 when his first single Theme From Tubular Bells reached No.31 in the charts.
