Strictly Come Bezzing

5-4-90:   Presenter:  Anthea Turner

Will be number one next week.

(6) THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS – Birdhouse In Your Soul

At its peak.

(EUROVISION) EMMA – Give A Little Love Back To The World
It's Eurovision time once again and this year fifteen year old Emma sings the UK entry live in the studio and then came a respectable 6th in the contest and the song peaked at number 33 in the charts.

(11) UB40 – Kingston Town  (video)
Peaked at number 4.

(9) JASON DONOVAN – Hang On To Your Love
He's in the studio but the song only went up one more place.

(17) ALANNAH MYLES – Black Velvet  (video)  (and credits)

  1. La Turner continues her recent improvement, and Jason Donovan aids her by making a complete balls up of his link at the end and making Anthea seem a model of professionalism by contrast! The Happy Mondays are disappointingly well behaved as they perform what must be their best remembered hit. It all sounds very tame, however, compared to the wonderful John Kongos original (entitled He's Gonna Step On You Again, of course), which had a unique everything-but-the-kitchen-sink rock sound to it.

Madge next, and the fact we get an unusually large amount of the video suggests the Beeb realised this record was already making a big impression; alas, I can't watch the video now without immediately thinking of the Smith and Jones parody! It's one of her classics, of course, though to my mind also the song that heralded the end of her imperial phase. The 90s would see the quality of her singles become much more erratic, though there would still be some high points. It's Eurovision time, and plucky young Emma looks like she could be Sonia's younger sister. I'm not surprised this did quite well at the contest, as it has that uplifting, feelgood Eurovision sound to it, but I am not keen on Emma's voice and she is rather dwarfed by her posse of backing singers. Apparently she lives in Seattle nowadays.

Zzz, here come UB40 with one of their most boring records, contriving to make Kingston sound like the dullest place on Earth - the city doesn't even feature in the appropriately monochrome video. Jason's ultra-formulaic SAW tune isn't much better, and even he doesn't seem that keen on performing it to start with, though he soon gets into his stride.

Jason seems keener on the number 1 than his own song, though sadly there is no podium this time as Snap return to the studio; once again, however, the female "singer" is relegated to the back. A proper singer to end with, however, as Alannah Myles smoulders her way through her only Top 40 hit. This bluesy number still holds up well today, and given her voice and her sex appeal, which comes over pretty clearly in the video, it is odd that a more substantial chart career failed to materialise.

    1. Actually when watching EMMA as the Eurovision hopeful, I was thinking of a younger Elaine Paige (not Sonia), especially at the beginning of this performance, I thought the remarkable resemblance to Paige by appearance as well as voice!

Also, it was a great shame that The B52s, now at their third week at No.2, did not get played on TOTP, since three weeks earlier when they were at No.6. All three week's at No.2, there was nothing for them, not even the playout. Great shame, as TOTP clearly didn't help their cause to get to No.1 ahead of Snap.

    2. The B52s should have changed their name to FPI Project...

  2. This was the end of madges 80s (1990) reign. Imo she drifted for the next 8 years with sub standard stuff and a dull desire to shock. However 1998 I think she released her finest ever work with Ray of light.

    This song tho? Meh.

  4. HAPPY MONDAYS with Step On, this is the first track that I remember them for and 30 years on I still love this track, along with MADONNA's Vogue.
Enjoyed the video for UB40's Kingston Town.
THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS-Birdhouse In Your Soul was catchy at the time.
The only other song I like was Black Velvet by ALANNAH MYLES.

  5. Emma’s Eurovision song was written by Eurovision bore Paul Curtis, who entered year after year to the extent that on one occasion he wrote or co-wrote half the eight entries in the “Song For Europe” final (might have been the year Belle and the Devotions tanked with one of his songs). Emma’s top 33 smash was on a short-lived label called Big Wave whose list of artistes was a right old bag of Revels, including The Troggs, The Barron Knights, David Christie (a re-working of “Saddle Up”), Manchester United FC and ‘Page Three stunna’ Maria Whittaker.

  6. Much as I loved the Bummed album, overexposure to Step On from the Happy Mondays cooled my interest in them, so much so that I didn't get the Pills, Thrills and Bellyaches album. This still gets overplayed to this day, and I am pretty sick of it now, but watching this performance they had held that outlaw swagger, nevertheless.

Another record that has been overplayed up next, Madonna's Vogue, or basically "How can I rip off Malcolm MacLaren's recent album and get away with it?" There's a reason we don't hear Waltz Darling too often. But this is fine as far as it goes, the David Fincher-directed video remains a favourite on the music video channels and it is very stylish (though black and white was such a cliche now), and I am partial to the movie star rap, every one mentioned a better actor than Madonna will ever be.

Happy to see the Giants, De La and the Queen again, but I've covered them, so on to a dollop of pandering syrup for Eurovision, not our finest three minutes, those lyrics are almost comically banal. It sounds like something from a school play. I believe kids are banned from the actual show now (they get their own Eurovision).

Sweet video for UB40, with some Jamaicans who must have taken the trip from Kingston way back when miming away, but it's a soporific record, less a lament and more an expression of indifference in this reading.

Jason Donovan, dumper-bound, with a record that just scraped the Top 10, how the mighty were about to fall. What did he do wrong that Kylie did right? Get stuck in a rut releasing this kind of go-nowhere material, I suppose.

Snap back in the studio going through their paces - ponytail AND quiff, Turbo? You're spoiling us! Then to end on a yawnsome bit of country rock that got masses of airplay at the time, then she upped and went. She's probably selling black velvet paintings these days. Always remember Simon Mayo singing "Have some cheese!" over the end of this one.

    1. In fairness, Jason did have one more chart-topper still to come thanks to ALW and Tim Rice, but there wouldn't be many more Top 10 hits.

      Delete
    2. I remember Simon Mayo using "I'm from Leeds" as an alternative last line for "Black Velvet".

      Delete
    3. After this, Jason Donovan had one more summit reacher, two other top tenners, three top 20's, three top 30's and one which missed the mugshots by one place, his last three chart entries faring the worst. Still, to have his sort of chart career, I should be so lucky. Oops, wrong "Neighbours" character!

    4. OK, I partially take it back, Jase had some fuel left in the tank before I'm a Celebrity and the nostalgia circuit beckoned.

    5. Mind you, didn't Philip Schofield have a hit with a song from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat? You could probably have a tune from that sung by Derek Jameson or Robin Day and it would have been a hit.

  7. Happy Mondays - not a great fan of the Mondays, but this is their finest moment. Sort of a cover, my favourite cover is The Party Boys featuring Alan Lancaster of Quo fame...

Madonna - back with a bang after the curious Dear Jessie track. Like Bowie, she was good at latching onto the in/coming sound.

Made it to 11 minutes before the FF - come on down Queen Latifah

Emma - I am a mega fan of Eurovision, but mostly disappointed with our offerings, and this is no exception. Instantly forgettable.

UB40 - chugging their way through another faux reggae track. Next...

Jason Donovan - snore saw snore. Nothing new here. Don’t remember this at all. (And fluffs the audition for presenter)

Alannah Myles - I’ve always liked this. Smooth and gentle country rock...

  8. Let’s go navel gazing with Anthea on one of her best turns yet.

Ah, now. My tune of 1990. Having worked for four years for a company who didn’t utilise me properly, I had an interview fifteen minutes after my last workday before a holiday abroad with my parents. I went to the pub with my mates in the evening and got home to be told by my mum that they’d received a phone call from my interviewees saying I’d got the job and they’d decided to start me on £750 more than the post advertised. In 1990, that was a lot of bunce, even after tax, especially as I was at the start of my full-time career. Our flight the next day was delayed by eight hours - the airline phoned us in advance to apologise - and we managed to see the FA Cup final (a belter, Man U 3 Palace 3 – same about the replay) before going for the plane. Tucking into the booze in my window seat early doors and paying for the flight headphones, as you did back then, first song I heard? The Mondays with “Step On”. What a send off! I returned to the office and resigned first day back!

“Vogue” next. “Rita Hayworth gave good face”, one step away from Madge’s probaby preferred “gave good head” knowing that minx. Posey, poncey, formualaic, but it works.

They Might Be Giants are from Brooklyn, Mrs Powell, not Boston. A treat to see and hear this fantastic tune again.

Well done. Anthea! The first TOTP host to properly pronounce Queen Latifah! Plus, we finally get to hear the old girl properly on the track’s third outing. Remind me, “Enjoy The Silence” got one (half) video showing and the B-52’s got nowt for a number two, and this managed three turns? Who runs this show?

Emma Aid next. Earnest yet shite. To think I entered a Eurovision song better than than this and failed. I entered it for Malta, who take Eurovision really seriously – the top 24 entries get shown on national telly – but I got disqualified for not having a Maltese singer on the CD, only to find two months later that my work receptionist, who had been a bride’s wear / lingerie model, was half Maltese and had taken singing lessons. Maybe another year! Don’t tell the wife!

Anthea, UB40ZZZZ aren’t here! They may well have been singing about Kingston-Upon-Thames or Kingston-Upon-Hull for all the effort they put in. Snoozy shite.

Didn’t Sonia or Big Fun want that scrag end SAW stuff Jason was subjected to? Poor chap! At least the fella was a decent ‘Want me on? I‘ll turn up’ sort. The Oz Shaky.

Turbo with the act’s name down his sleeve but no presidential mic stand. A plus then a minus.

We finish with a smooth, easy rocking tribute to Elvis from a woman who looked like my first proper girlfriend, who was adopted and was originally from that rock hotbed, Colchester.
Come on, Rad and Frayed Bentos. Let’s ‘ave yer! What’s your take? ;-D

    1. I heard the thud of the gauntlet being dropped from miles away!

I can only comment on the acts & songs as I haven't yet seen the Pops for reasons too boring to go into, but as far as the tracks themselves:

HAPPY MONDAYS: Their most accessible by a country mile even though Mr. Ryder still continues to be unable to hold a tune in a bucket. Good cover, but the drumming on the Kongos original has a more apt Hank Mizell feel to it. Decent opener though.

MADONNA with the big boobies: Groundbreaking at the time but overplayed, her last real hurrah until Ray of Light.

THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS: Quirky and unusual preppy pop for nerds & triggered the short-lived Tigger dance at student nights which sort of caught on for about 5 minutes. The blueprint I feel for the more sustainable & superior Barenaked Ladies.

QUEEN LATIFAH & DE LA SOUL: Funky and more relevant for the time, the outright winner for me in this line-up.

EMMA: No recollection & can't comment until I've watched it, but by the looks of the comments it's potentially over-earnest claptrap Johnny Logan might have sung.
It doesn't sound like it's going to be the quality of Belle & the Devotions, so the FF might well be pushed.

UB40: I have a bit of a soft spot for this & the Labour of Love II album which is likely to get me banished, so in advance of incoming derision let's just agree to disagree ;-)

JASON DONOVAN: The pre-Christmas one was one of the better SAW songs IMO but by this time the horse had been flogged to death & the only crumb of comfort is an autotuned Big Bum didn't 'sing' it.

SNAP EXCLAMATION MARK: Turbo B issues the manifesto & you wouldn't want to argue with him. Like a funked up version of the Government Coronavirus Briefing with Jonathan van Tam.

ALANNAH MYLES- Sultry, sexy and a bit like a female Wicked Game, this was a quality tune & evokes a lazy hot Summer day with crickets rubbing their legs together.

Either that or an advert for Bodyform.

In runner up place to Queen Latifah & DLS and well-deserved.

Consider the gauntlet challenge fulfilled Arthur ;-)

    6. Ha, sorry for late entry, these last few episodes haven't been that inspiring, cracking tunes like Birdhouse in Your Soul, Loaded and This is How it Feels peppered with dross like... well, UB40 by numbers and Jason's worst single yet..

Happy Mondays and Black Grape have always been hit and miss for me, but can't deny that Shaun and Bez are great pop stars, and Step On is their best.

Emma - had forgotten how much she resembled Sonia.

Snap and Madonna are classics of the year but also played to death...

Alannah Myles is a karaoke fave of our friendship group, along with Heart, Bonnie Tyler and every other good rawk ballad of the 80s/90s

  17. On this performance I’m really getting to like Anthea as a presenter. Nice outfit also, suitably trendy.

Happy Mondays – Step on – As John points out this was originally entitled ‘He’s gonna step on you again’ and what a sound that was from John Kongos in 1971. John also released another great single in the same year – ‘Tokoloshe Man’…..and then nothing! (or at least nothing that charted). Opinion seems unanimous that the original was far superior to this cover.

Madonna – Vogue – Ok, so it’s OK. Nothing special. ‘Live to tell’, ‘Like a Virgin’, ‘Borderline’…..all are better singles in my opinion but didn’t top the chart like this did for four weeks. Ah well…

They might be Giants – Birdhouse – Didn’t give this the time of day…

Queen lafitah – Mama gave birth… - nor this.

Emma – Give a little love back to the world – Nice sentiments but I prefer ‘Give a little love’ by the Rollers.

UB40 – Kingston Town – Very pleasant gentle reggae.

Jason Donovan – Hang on to your love – Hang on haven’t I heard this before?

Snap – The Power – FF – was that them in the studio btw?

Alannah Myles – Black Velvet – Great single….I think Alannah’s musical career must have been short lived as there don’t seem to be very many single releases. Anyway, pleasantly surprised that this was a big hit….no1 in the US.

    1. Having checked Wikipedia, I didn't know Alannah Myles is Canadian. "Black Velvet" was her one big international hit - she got into the US top 40 with her previous single - and she released nearly 20 singles and had a decent chart career in her homeland, with four Canadian top 10 placings.

    2. John Kongos did rather disappear off the face of the Earth after his two Top 10 successes, but it seems he then concentrated on production and composing theme tunes and jingles - he also got a credit for Fairlight programming on the Def Leppard album Pyromania!

His album Kongos is worth a listen, containing not just his two big hits but some other classy songs performed with a team of crack musicians. His sons went on to form a rock group which they called, imaginatively enough, Kongos...

    3. But did John Kongos play the bongos?

Leetree, I see your point re "Pyromania". A quick bit of research shows the album barely made the UK top 20, and the three singles taken from it only reached 66, 41 and an unofficial number 86 over here.

  18. Anthea's back. The old Anthea it seems with that over smiley cascade of consonant removed words. But it is a real cracker of a show as that fashion guru Jim Laker might've put it.
I'm coming in close for this one.

The Happy Mondays; A major single for me. The one that got me truly aware of indie / stuff that's fashionable. Like Snap! though it feels just a tiny bit of a waste to not have the fantastic video but at least I can gaze at Rowetta for a while. Probably like the original just as much now but for me this is all about that guitar figure another '90 moment. Mark Day is such an underrated guitarist. Any doubts, listen to 'Judge Fudge'. Loud. 'Kinky Afro' still the top one. I mean favourite one.

Madonna; So no No.1 on both sides of the Atlantic for 'Express Yourself' (not even in the US apparently), or for 'Cherish'. She wasn't going to allow that to happen a 3rd time was she? Bob Harris said in that bbc4 documentary about the UK charts that there were certain singles from the late '50s early '60s that just smashed through everything in its path and I'd say that was the case with this one. One of those special No.1s where every single moment of track and video could be held up as iconic, this was only going to the top even casually kicking 'The Power' out of the way. I'm really looking forward to this holding court and I actually prefer 'Cherish'!

They Might Be Giants; And the runner up prize for weirdest way of holding an
instrument on British tv goes to the guitarist of TMBG! The winner though must surely always be the bassist of The Lemonheads on 'The Word'. Watch it. He even plays it sometimes. I still really like this. A quirky one-off (fortunately).

Queen Latifah & De La Soul; A bit underwhelming this one. Did De La Soul immediately post 'Three Feet High and Rising' really need to rely on a Chuck D sample? And the refrain is a little baffling considering most people would never have heard of Queen Latifah. Not being much of a rap fan I don't know anything else by her but I know she was very influential. She is great in 'Chicago'.

Emma; Ha! HA! Ha! HA! Ha!, oh, Ha! HA! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! HA HA HA!
No she is right, we should.

UB40; I've never really understood why UB40 needed to keep drawing on lost Reggae classics when as late as 1986 they could write something as quietly powerful as 'Sing Our Own Song'. But enough trips to the conveyor belt would eventually produce something truly great and for me this is it. I still find this single so touching both music and video. A last understated moment of glory.

Jason Donovan; Couldn't the pop prince of '89 have said 'not good enough. Try harder'. Dreadful random notes tune after his glorious last single.

Snap! In the studio again. Bit disaapointed by that. Still thanks world's coolest summit speakers. It was a joy. And Jacqui I know you weren't the singer but you were the one at the lectern and to a 14 year old that's what really matters.

Alannah Myles; I wouldn't tell her to be quiet if I was on a neighbouring porch.

    2. It's disappointing but unsurprising, as there'd be no atmosphere unless the BBC went down the virtual crowd noise similar to the football! Only way they could've put a show together would be individual performances filmed separately like what happens on the One Show nowadays or on Strictly at a push, but for acts to start travelling round the country now isn't such a great idea. No reason of course for not having a video compilation as a compromise.

I'd love to see 28th December 1972 one which exists with Blackburn and Edmonds or just a really great compilation of the best xmas day clips. One I'd like to see again on tv is The Feeling's fabulous performance of 'Sewn' on the 2006 edition.
And totp2 throws in the occasional lost treasure. Maybe they could, as a tribute to the late Peter Green, show the recently discovered studio clip of 'Oh Well' from 13th November 1969. That would be the best xmas present for me this year!

    5. I guess most of the showable totp xmas day editions would have to be from 1984 onward. I missed '84 so would love to see it repeated. But that Fleetwood Mac clip. 'Joy To The World' indeed if that was shown.

  38. You'll notice that I've not been posting much on here lately - this is because I rarely watch the shows within a few days of broadcast and when I get here often there's not much to add. Plus the old show requests have ballooned, and I note this time they started on the SAME DAY this show went out. So don't be surprised if I just read and don't contribute from now on...

Happy Mondays - 1990 is the year I went to University and this was one of THE anthems in my first term. They also did a cover of the other John Kongos hit, 'Tokoloshe Man' (as a B-side I think)

Madonna - Quite an exciting song at the time, though I'm bored of it now. Annoyingly, this is one of many Madge tracks that she's incapable of putting a 7" version of on her hits collections.

Emma - Dreadful song with a shop's own Sonia singing (the real one's bad enough!) and if anything the environmental message was a bit too soon for Eurovision.

UB40 - The usual tedious cover.

Jason Donovan - I've always loved this song, I think it's one of the better late period SAW songs. I honestly think that this may have been regarded as a classic if a 'credible' singer had been singing it.

Alannah Myles - Never liked it, and another bugbear of mine here: it always appears on 80s compilations as that's when it was recorded, even though it was a hit in the 90s.

    1. The blog owner is ok with requests, so you need to grow up and if you can't filter through comments maybe blog better without you.

    2. And here's exactly the kind of attitude that I get every time I dare say something about old show requests. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, and I know that Angelo is OK with the idea, but waiting mere hours after broadcast is ridiculous.

  39. well said noax! as you may remember: i was the first "voice in the wilderness" when the completists started popping up here, and got shouted down for my pains. so i am not at all surprised that there is now a "cuckoo in the nest" sitation, and that i am no longer alone in losing enthusiasm for the blog as a result (plus in my case, thanks to the generally dire standard of what is on offer musically now)

yes indeed, blog head honcho angelo did approve of "requests". which is why i chose not to mention things to that end again until such time other long-term contributors with something of interest to say decided they had had enough of the babble and comment accordingly. it would be interesting to know if the viewing figures are any higher or lower than "the good old days", as a result of those requesting copies of this show or that show now seemingly starting to outnumber the old faithful whose often witty and informed comments made this blog a joy to read?

I'm similar to yourselves in I don't watch the shows early on, but the banter appeals on here & the knowledge is second to none so there's always something interesting to learn. I generally scroll through the requests anyway, but surely there's room for both?

But hey, it’s somebodies blog and they seem ok with it so who am I to moan as im only a guest.

Some of the completists do get very “keyboard warrior” though don’t they.

    6. I'd rather stay here thanks to the sense of community that's built up since most of us started commenting with the 1976 episodes. It doesn't feel the same now, sorry - it's not about the 'effort' of having to scroll through comments, it's about the lack of flow for natural conversation now and the fact that my comments get buried under loads of show requests and those that do lose the will to scroll endlessly won't see them!

Well over 100 missing editions made available here by collectors including me. Good afternoon Anonymous, would you have any of the following archive TOTP editions from 1986 please? All have BBC4 edits. 19/06, 10/07, 31/07, 04/09, 25/09, 27/11. Thank you for any in advance. Could I remind all bloggers not to forget to watch TOTP on BBC4 tonight starting at 8. That's all folks. 1. If I might be so bold as to make a constructive suggestion to offer the thread? There's obviously dozens of archived pages here, and looking at the first ever one posted in 2007 has no comments.

A suggestion *might* be to use this page as an annexe for requests, thereby saving the blog owner creating a new thread every Week. As long as Anonymous is OK with the proposal it seems like a win-win, with the added benefit Angelo's song gets the attention it's been crying out for since 2007! ;-)

    1. Good grief people!
Personally I love the episodes being posted- I don't specifically request any myself but download most if not all of them- it is fantastic what is shared here.
Surely there is a very simple solution here if people hate the traffic so much- such as you limit each person to one request for files per week, maximum five shows per request, and no more than five total requests per week. That might give anonymous a little less to do, but stil sharing great episodes for us, yet also helping people who clearly do not have the ability to scroll through a thread which still has only a little more than 100 posts

      Delete
    2. from what i can tell, everyone's issues are how constant new comments keep bogging down the comment section with few posts about the 1990 shows themselves between them

so surely if anonymous makes one comment themselves for every requester to only reply to instead of making new ones solves that issue?

      Delete
    3. Many of us greatly appreciate your uploads Anon and i hope you carry on doing so as long as there is a demand for them. This spat is madness. This is a TOTP page.Surely there is room for comments on current shows as well as uploads of older shows

  49. The last time this happened , over a year ago, when a row blew up over the amount of old show requests were on each blog, the same suggestions were put forward. Angelo said it was alright for the requests to continue and everyone calmed down. The amount of requests soon tailed off as most of the people wanting them had got the shows they wanted. I've been the only one, except for a few, over the last year, who has kept requesting them. Over the last two weeks a load of new requesters have come on and swamped the blog. When everyone has got the shows they want, it will probably go back to normal with only a few requests each week. So lets all chill out everybody!

    1. I don't think anything needs changing. I like the comments on the shows, but I also like the requests. I used to record the BBC4 repeats on my Skybox, but it takes up a lot of MB/GB space if not all of it, and it has been refreshing to collect some of the episodes from Anonymous posting them on here, so that I can store them on my computer and then delete the BBC4 ones from my Skybox to free up space for other programmes shown on TV.

Like Noax, Wilberforce, Sct353 and other regulars, I have been on this blog from pretty much the beginning, and I have enjoyed the 'collection' requests of episodes from Anonymous, as well as the weekly comments on Angelo's blog from the regulars.

  51. Shouty Anthea is back.

Twisting my melon man...Be making a living out of shaking his maracas in time to Shauns' mumblings (couldn't call it singing). Great record though. One of the sounds of the 90s. Interesting to see Mr Ryder looking young as he's looked about 65 for the last 25 years.

Come on Vogue! My goodness this was everywhere at the time. Great pop song. Iconic video What's not to love. You'll have his eye out with that bra love

Say I'm the only bee in your bonnet - They might have a birdhouse in their soul but this re-recorded version for TOTP is still not as good as the single. Mad as a blue canary in the outlet by the light switch.

Once again Queen Latifah is back with even more De La Souless. I never FF but there times I'm sorely tempted. Video crap as well. The producer must love this song. 3 weeks in a row now.

Give a little love back to Eurovision when we had a chance. Welsh Emma who is only 15. So was I but no-one asked me! Some seriously dodgy staging here and her voice is quite thin. Song a bit "Seekers" and righteous for me. Ended up signing along though...bugger. Finished 2nd didn't she?

Hooray Jesus Jones have arrived. Had their album. There's a lot of records in the 15-30 range we haven't seen but we got Giants and Latifah again!

She'll be waiting in Kingston Town for the wonderful/dreadful UB40 (Marmite in our house, I like, Wifey hates). This is pleasant but not their finest offering. I like the video as well.

    Nice Oz link Anthea..

Never let go tweenies it's Jason again. About to be dumped by Kylie for Mr INXS, couldn't hang on to his own love..oh the irony... Not a bad pop song actually. His second album has a few decent tunes which made it 1000% better than anything else he ever released.

God the guy in the cap looks thrilled to be there doesn't he. Love Shack STILL at Number Two!

SNAP! Attack! Back in the studio and he's lost his podium this time. Miming model now not only at the back but covered in dry ice, feeling guilty Turbo? Stomping tune though.

In a slow southern style it's Black Vivet to play us out (stick to the day job Jason). Great song, nice little video. Alannah Myles one of those one hit wonders with a hugely memorable tune.

    Good show.
