Top of the Pops in a Million

 If the world should stop we'll still have the 7th of January 2000 edition of Top of the Pops!

Getting the new millennium underway but the song had already peaked at number 3.

(4) STEPS – Say You’ll Be Mine
Here in the studio tonight with the boys even singing a bit but the song was at its peak.

(ALBUM TRACK) SHANIA TWAIN – Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)
In the studio tonight with a track from her massive number one album, Come On Over.

(3) ARTFUL DODGER feat. CRAIG DAVID – Re-Rewind The Crowd Say Bo Selecta
Going back up the chart again but still won't get higher than number 2.

(2) S. CLUB 7 – Two In A Million
Performing the third and final single from their number 2 album, S Club, and it was at its peak.

(6) ALICE DEEJAY – Back In My Life
Had already peaked at number 4.

(7) JOHN LENNON – Imagine  (video)
First released as an album track in 1971, finally released as a single in 1975 when it peaked at number 6, then made it to number 1 in 1981, and now in this new century it peaked at number 3.

(1) WESTLIFE – Seasons In The Sun  (and credits)
Third of four weeks at number one for this double A side.

      The TOTP New Chart 9th Jan countdown clock(not sure of the technical name) at the start says 'Repaired Version' I wonder what was repaired?

  3. Full Top 7 singles played on the first TOTP of 2000!

    Not being funny, but I enjoyed the John Lennon single the most, as the song had already been nearly 30 years old by the year 2000, and still getting the video played on TOTP in the new millennium. Good Lord!
