A+? Were they top of the class then? This was a rehash of the summer 1976 disco single A Twelfth of Beethoven which was danced to on TOTP by Ruby Flipper on a David Hamilton presented show:

Tatyana Ali (check the spelling Angelo, it's not Tayana) - Will Smith again from afar introducing a TOTP single. Will he ever appear in the TOTP studio? Good Lord!
Blondie - this at No.1 must have been recorded a couple of weeks earlier in the studio, as I remember a TOTP show just before this one, where Debbie Harry was on the TOTP sofa but did not appear on stage on that show, so it looks like it was recorded in advance.
Further down the chart at No.68 was a new entry and peak position for Sarah Brightman with Eden.

The unedited version got shown on UK Gold in 1993/94 and Eins Festival in 2009, only BBC4 chopped out 3 acts - The Beatles on video, The Three Degrees, and the 1930s cartoon promo by Silver Convention.
This will never see the light of day again! due to BBC4 won't show the unedited version because of DLT.
