  2. Great to see Phil Collins and Cliff Richard chatting away in the TOTP studio as the show progressed. I mean ok Cliff was a regular on the show for the last 30 years since the 60s, despite the next generations taking over the TOTP stages through to the 90s, but what was Phil Collins doing there with no single to perform? Anyway, never seen these two together on screen before!

    Further down the chart at No.36 and at peak, was a new entry for Elaine Paige with a re-recording of Memory, which originally got to No.6 in June 1981, so not sure why this was re-recorded for the late 90s.

    1. Cher was there too - we'll see her next week. So they were pre-records. However Collins single - True Colours - only charted at 28 so wasn't even shown.
