  2. Celine Dion recorded some great songs. Love it or hate it, I thought this was a great song.

  3. A really good show this one with only the No.1 making me want to disconnect the tv. Jo Whiley was Jo Whiley albeit with plenty of those late '90s expressions that we're just going to have to get used to for the next year or so. Hard to tell what she thought about some of those records though she was very enthusiastic about Air which for me was the clear highlight. Looked and sounded fantastic, atmospheric and charming. Jean, you aren't that voice.....er, I don't think? Sublime few minutes and great to see them in the studio. 'Cherry Blossom Girl' from 2004 is for me even better.
Hurricane No.1 finally in the studio according to Jo. Alright single but not a patch on the stunning 'Step Into My World' which I played always and loud whenever I put on the Shine; Best of '97 cd. 'Only The Strongest Will Survive' is a bit of a plodder and sounded to me like it re-uses some of the tune of the previous single.
'Ain't That Just The Way' a great single from that year (and the year before) and The Stereophonics bellowing away on a set that channels 'Celebrity Squares'. Enjoyed that. Never thought much of them aside from 'Local Boy In The Photograph' and 'Dakota'.
No memory of Lilys at all and thought it might be another Contempt moment until I saw Angelo's post and saw that this made it all the way to No.16. Oh it was from an ad. Give me Praise and their new age hand gesturing any day of the week.
