My Christmassy Sort of Tune

I'd just like to take this chance to wish everyone who reads and contributes to this blog a very Merry Christmas!

I have to admit I'm slightly nervous about posting this, but since it's without a doubt the closest I'll ever get to being on Top of the Pops myself, here is (performed by yours truly in front of the Only Way Is Up laptop) my Christmassy Sort of Tune :-)

  1. OMG, brilliant stuff. 1988 was an awful year for me musically but this has cheered me up no end. I see my hair is the same colour as yours. Can I have your autograph?

  7. I was going to say you're the new Cliff Richard, but maybe you're the new Russ Conway! Tune reminded me a bit of The Christmas Alphabet (er, without the alphabet).

A thousand thanks for letting us vent on your blog, Angelo, and have a merry Christmas to all your readers.

    1. I couldn't post this on the Christmas Day show thread for some reason, but thanks Steve (and THX) for the satsuma info re Fairground Attraction. In response to THX's musings, I think satsuma season is pretty much over now - Clementines take over by the time Christmas arrives, but I don't like their dry texture or sickly aroma.

    2. There was a problem here on Boxing Day also. I had to become an "official" blogger before I could post anything. Now I have a nice white 'B' in an orange circle to my left when I post anything.

  12. Bravo Angelo! A funny thing happened when I was watching this; my own cat jumped on my lap just a few seconds before your dog made an appearance.

This is wonderful! I have looked on YT and no comments or likes yet, so I have liked it myself!

    Merry Christmas one and all!
