I must say I was very impressed by the presenting of the show by Sarah Cawood. A real natural with loads of appeal, and I can see why TOTP left behind the male presenters this year, as the last few months it has been all Whiley and Middlemiss, and now even better with Cawood. 1997 saw TOTP sexed up considerably by bringing in some gorgeous presenters.

Sarah Brightman was a new entry this week at peak position of No.45 with Who Wants To Live Forever, which I presume was a cover of the Queen classic from 1986, and also on the back of recent success in duet mode with Andrei Bocelli with a recent No.2 for their efforts, but following that up solo did not bear fruit for Brightman, missing out on a Top 40 placing.
It's a cover of the Brian May penned Queen song, accompanied by the LSO. For my money it's not a patch on the original.
