(5) MICHAEL JACKSON – History (live from Wembley)
At its peak.
(20) DUBSTAR – No More Talk
Here tonight but got no higher.
(3) COOLIO feat. 40 THEVZ – C U When U Get There (video)
His fourth and final top ten hit.
(NEW) U2 – Last Night On Earth (video)
Will peak at number 10.
(7) SHAGGY feat. MARSHA – Piece Of My Heart
With us in the studio but go no higher.
(1) OASIS – D’You Know What I Mean? (and credits)
Just the one week at number one, unfortunately for these repeats.
Shaggy featuring Marsha - this song came off very well, but not sure why the two players could not sing next to each other, and were separated into solo singers, especially as this is a quite well known cover.
ReplyDeleteA new entry for Paul McCartney at No.23 with The World Tonight, was the second of three comeback singles in 1997, after 4-year absence since 1993. All three singles comfortably made Top 30, but unfortunately none of them featured on TOTP, so not a good comeback for the legend in terms of TV exposure.
