  3. 27-6-97 - Echo & The Bunnymen back in the Top 10 with their first single since 1988, and in the TOTP studio, what took them so long?

4-7-97 - Sash! now on their second single and back in the TOTP studio with their second No.2, but this time with male lead vocals, moving from French to Spanish for the new single Equador.
Also a new entry and peak position of No.21 for Jean Michel Jarre with Oxygene 10, having recently peaked at No.17 in March with Oxygene 8.

11-7-97 Phil Collins with a new entry and peak position of No.43 with Wear My Hat, having recently peaked at No.30 at the end of 1996 with It's In Your Eyes. Nothing further to come from Collins until late 1998.
