Hi Rob, Do you have TOTP2 9th Nov 1996, please.
DeleteThanks Rob!!!
DeleteMy pick of the songs on this show was the Bucks Fizz TOTP studio performance from December 1982, with the amazing costumes on the girls.
DeleteI'm back from Lurking on holiday for one week and have four TOTP2 to watch:)
DeleteAs ever, thanks to Rob and Anonymous for the past four eps.

DeleteI liked this Janet Jackson single. She did some really good solo singles to.
ReplyDeleteTOTP2 - 9-11-96: Presenter: Johnnie Walker
ReplyDeleteGENERATION X – Your Generation (TOTP 15-9-77)
FLUKE – Atom Bomb (video)
DEEP PURPLE – Black Night (TOTP 15-10-70)
THE RATTLES – The Witch (TOTP 15-10-70)
THE HOLLIES – Gasoline Alley Bred (TOTP 15-10-70)
MATTHEWS SOUTHERN COMFORT – Woodstock (video)
ERIC CLAPTON – Change The World (video)
J.J. BARRIE – No Charge (TOTP 3-6-76)
VELVET JONES – Exclusive (video)
NIRVANA – Smells Like Teen Spirit (video)
DODGY – If You’re Thinking Of Me (video)
GARBAGE – Milk (video)
SCREAMING LORD SUTCH – Jack The Ripper (and credits) (Unknown 3-63)
Standout song on this show is Woodstock by Matthews Southern Comfort. The TOTP footage of the girl travelling from London by train to Woodstock is I think a TOTP exclusive video, as it has not been found anywhere else, and I think there is a different video for it as the official video.
DeleteIncredibly strong Top 10 in this 97 ep. I counted 4 million sellers in there, and you have a fifth in the No.11 song of course. How unusual would this have been, I wonder ,to have so many million sellers in the chart at once?
