Chart rundown - great to see Rod Stewart with a new entry at No.16, and despite not getting onto the show while well in the Top 20, Rod was by now almost thirty years into his chart career and still producing new chart singles, although this was to be his final Top 20 single, as the next best was a No.26 in 2001.

    Also just outside the Top 40 this week with a new entry and peak position for The Simple Minds with War Babies, having recently had their final Top 40 single a couple of months earlier with Glitterball which made it to No.18 in March 1998.
