Ok, so Coolio has a single at No.14 called Ooh La La, in the same chart as 2-Eivissa's Oh La La. Good Lord, I'm totally confused now. At least this was Coolio's final Top 40 hit, so thanks for pointing this out Angelo.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, Paul Weller came in as a new entry at No.21 with Friday Street, and The Jam's old 1982 single The Bitterest Pill (I Ever Had To Swallow) was a new entry at No.30 on the same 1997 chart. Not sure why the co-incidence this week for both songs, but suffice to say that both these Weller singles tumbled out of the Top 40 the following week!
