 Everybody was kung fu fighting, in fact it was a little bit the 22nd of May 1998 edition of Top of the Pops!

A new performance of this song that had already peaked at number 6.

(15) IMAANI – Where Are You
The Eurovision runner-up was now at its chart peak, and it was her only hit.

(13) BUS STOP feat. CARL DOUGLAS – Kung Fu Fighting
Had been a number one for Carl in 1974, and this version peaked at number 8.

(5) LUTRICIA McNEAL – Stranded
Performing her second of three top ten hits and this one was the biggest peaking at number 3.

(2) THE TAMPERER  feat. MAYA – Feel It
Another step closer to number one.

(18) SHED SEVEN – The Heroes
With the third single from their number 9 album, Let It Ride, but it got no higher.

In the studio tonight but got no higher.

(12) LeANN RIMES – How Do I Live
Had already peaked at number 7.

(4) CLEOPATRA – Life Ain’t Easy
Here with with second of four top ten hits but it got no higher.

(3) WYCLEF JEAN – Gone Till November
The former Fugee rapper makes his solo studio debut but the song got no higher.

(15) ADAM GARCIA – Night Fever
This Bee Gees cover was his only hit and it got no higher.

(1) AQUA – Turn Back Time  (and credits)
First and only week at the top for their third and final number one.
