    1. Presenter Paul Burnett turns 81 this year in 2024.

Good Lord, did anyone notice the first tune over the Top 30 chart, namely The Motors? This tune was later used by BBC TV's famous Grandstand sports programme during the 80's, in instrumental form that is.

Pity that Summer Nights at No.11 was edited out with two other singles, in the week before it got to No.1 and stayed there for several weeks until November.

Brotherhood of Man (also edited out) still going in 1978? in a career going back to 1970, it was effectively their last single, as only one more in a summer 1982 comeback could only manage no.67.

      Abba - Summer Night City
At least this one was not edited out. Phew! This has always been my favourite Abba single, alongside Eagle and Name of The Game, and the video was just brilliant on the show, especially soon after a similarly named song Summer Nights from Grease.
