    1. One Hundred Ton & A Feather was edited out, hence the show was only 35 minutes long on BBC4 compared to the original 1976 airing.

Quite liked the two Ruby Flipper performances on this show, especially the second one to The Tavares.

Good to see BBC4 resuming the 1976 shows, now in the middle of the famous long hot summer of 1976.

    2. Looking forward to this evening's '76 edition. Thin Lizzy 'Jailbreak' was one of my choices for best clips in the first 10 years of BBC4 showing them. Next week's one looks utter dreck aside from the No.1 but that's the joy of revisiting that year. Some very good singles around Oct and Nov.
It's good also that BBC2 are doing a special to mark 90 years of BBC television. Probably Glastonbury, perhaps with some Glastonbury. No DJ Spoony is one of the people involved and he should select some interesting things. Katie Derham as well so a nice selection of classical.
I would insist on Adelaide Hall from Oct 1947, the earliest existing Telerecording but probably not. Duke Ellington and Wes Montgomery on Jazz 625, Jacqueline Du Pre. For pre '76 Totp it would be good to see T.Rex 'Hot Love' which got a brief showing on the 25th anniversary show. Fleetwood Mac 'Oh Well' from the recovered Nov '69 clips. Colour Me Pop, A Little Night Music and Rock Goes To College. All of those would be a treat to watch. Looking forward to seeing what they have in store.

    3. Next week's '76 edition looks good. It's the week after that looks pretty awful.
